"Fun Photography Night"
Glass Photography
By: Carla Ferris and helpers
Glass Photography: (https://www.riverbendphotovideoclub.com/abstract-glass-photography.html)
This meeting will be a hands-on session (and you’ll have a chance to socialize with other members in the process). We will be trying out a couple of different techniques for photographing glass and plastic objects, using a computer screen or a monitor for a background. I have created (using AI) some interesting abstract backgrounds to display on the screen. I also have a solid white background to use on the laptop, to show you some fun things. We will have at least 4 different setups going.

Recommended Camera Equipment to bring:
- Digital camera - this could be anything from ful-sized to a cellphone-You can do this with any type of camera.
- Lens - Anything used in a normal close type range-it doesn’t need to be a macro, but I used my 24-200mm and it works great so anything between those ranges. If you take a look at the photos in the slideshow, you’ll see approximately the distance you’ll be shooting.
- Tripod is optional, but with higher ISOs (I used 1600 on mine), it is not required, but if you’d like to use one, by all means bring one with you.
- Polarizer - not required, but if you have one, bring it along.
